Please can I have a private post

I’m in need of some advice
My lg is 1 still doesn’t sleep through the night which I understand some children just dont like to sleep through… But my problem is getting her to actually settle once put in her cot in her own room,, tonight has been hard she’s currently asleep clinging to my arm… I’ve tried everything my HV has suggested and nothing works,, before people advise the cry it out method I can’t do that with my lg as she just cries and screams until she is sick and then won’t just fall asleep,, just looking for a bit of friendly advise as we will have a newborn in a matter of weeks as well
