Ppp im 40+2 days and just been midwife for a membrane sweep but apparently she couldnt do it due to still being closed. Feeling like labor is never going to happen so has anyone had a failed sweep but still gone into labor soon after.

I did mine was closed then the next day started getting contractions I was in 4 days slow labour after that , had issues dilating because of procedure I got done on my cervix year before. Xxx
I was 10 days late! Went in to be Induced and they said I’d have a long wait as I wasn’t even slightly softened or effaced, hour later my waters broke before they gave me any meds x
I went at 3pm for a sweep, she couldn’t reach. My waters broke naturally at 6pm and baby was born the next morning
I was 41+6, And I never really progressed, If nothing works, you will be induced, But you will have a baby in the end :).
Have sex if its possible good thing for starting labour lmao x
