I was wondering if you ladies could advise on the best contraception!! I’m more after it to STOP MY PERIODS. It seems after having children mine are horrendous!! I had the implant a few years ago and it was awful. I was soo so poorly on it I had to have it removed. I also need something I don’t have to remember to take as my memory is really bad 😂 Any advice would be great!! Thank you in advance x

My marina coil dislodged due to heavy periods and i feel pregnant. Ask gp for mefanamic acid ( ??think thats spelt right) and also tranexamic acid tablets to help lessen blood loss . I had this because of fibroids and because id done havin kids ( 8 ) i had a womb oblation to burn womb lining but still bleed so had hystorectomy in feb.xx
First 4 implants I had stopped mine dead. This last one I have been on for 3 months! Your body reacts differently after each pregnancy. I am going on min pill just to regulate my periods but keep implant as contraception.
No contraception has ever stopped mine, and I’ve had implant, depo injection, pill and patches. Had a period with every one. Everyone is different, so what works for one, may not work for others x
I hated my implant and pills! Recently got on depo and all periods stopped plus after all bad reviews I’ve read I still managed to loose few pounds so definitely worked for me ☺️
Depo stopped mine..but it isnt all that great as it seems… still get the montly cramps just no actual peroid plus it makes me so bloated! Xx
I had the Mirena coil in for five years and had no periods after a bit of spotting for the first 3 months. No nasty side effects either x
I’m on the depo injection, injected every 12 wks. Haven’t had a period for 8 yrs 😊
I have the implant its stopped mine. Had the coil but didn’t stop them everyone’s different though x
