Ppp
After trying for a baby for over a year I’m pregnant. I though this was meant to be the happiest time of my life. But today me and my partner split up for good. I have had enough he works full time but pays no bills towards my house not even for food, gas, electric or rent I pay it all. He treats me like crap and talks down and belittles me all the time. He is never happy and treats me like a slave. I work full time and have 2 children from my previous marriage. He thinks I should do all the house work, cooking and cleaning even though I work more hours than him have 2 kids and pregnant. I own my house with my ex but I have just sold it and brought a new house just in my name he thinks I should put it in both our names but it’s not his money and he won’t pay anything so I refuse to. All of this has resorted to us breaking up because I’m not a push over and refuse to be taken for a mug. Am I being to harsh and unfair on him. Thanks xx

  • Not at all. To own a home together you should be equal partners but it sounds like he’s after a free ride. You’ve earned your house and if he’s not willing to contribute to anything why should he be given the luxury of owning half your home x

  • I’m really glad your standing your ground. If he’s not contributing then why should he have his name on the house. You have clearly put a lot of work hours in to be able to buy a house. Xxx
