Ppp…. My son is 1.5years I had to take him to hospital a few weeks ago as his breathing was worrying me… He ended up staying the night in hospital and he had an x ray which showed a chest infection nothingness major but was giving an inhaler which helped loads steroids and antibiotics…. He was aloud home next day when his breathing was back to normal… Today I received a phone call from a health worker saying they want to do a home visit to discuss medication.. I’m just wonderingnif anyone know why a health visitor wants to come to my house… I would have thought I should have discussed medication with my lb doctor…is this normal precedure? Thanks

My son was in a little younger than yours no X-ray but told he had asthma but couldn’t be formal till he was 5year old x I never had any check up with mine and he has been at the docs every 2-4 weeks over the winter for a course of steroids x and has blue pump when needed and brown pump twice a day x maybe give them a ring see what they are wanting to visit for it may just be coming to see if u need any support info or advice if your son ever gets that way again x many times I have wanted to take my boy to hospital but haven’t and managed his condition at home till we could see gp x maybe wanting to come and give u some extra support and help with anything u may need or have concerns about x iv been trying to get a h.v to come see us since my boy was 8 months and still no appointment x
