What really happens at your 6 week check up after having baby? And is it important I go? Also I got told I could get the implant when I go but do they do a pregnancy test prior to putting in the implant? Tia x

Yes it’s important to go, they check you and the baby over, if you don’t go they won’t allow your child to have their jabs! Unsure on the implant as I went on the pill x
When I went they literally just felt my stomach, asked how I was feeling then checked the baby over and that was it. It’s important to go so they can make sure nothing’s wrong with the baby. I had the injection and they didn’t do a test, not sure about the implant x
Yes it’s important. Getting seen after a baby is very important. They’ll probably do a cervical exam and feel your stomach.
