Hi everyone I am looking for some advise on what to do with my lads school. I had a meeting with them last week about them wanting to get more funding to help him. I learnt at this meeting that he is working a a year 2 level he’s in year 5. I have constantly been asking his teachers (since year 1) how he’s getting on and if there’s anything more I can do with him a home to get him to catch up for me to be told just keep doing what your doing don’t worry he’s fine he is catching up. Non of his teachers apart from this one (because she had to) have told me how far behind he actually is. I’m really worried that’s he’s not going to get where he needs to. I really don’t want to move schools as he has a sibling there who is doing fine. He is a very shy boy so I think moving schools would do more damage than it would good. I’m trying to get a meeting with the head to discuss what is going on at how I feel. Does anyone have any advise or have been through the same.
