Private post please:
My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 4 years, he’s recently been diagnosed with azoospermia (zero Sperm count)
After a lot of deliberation and thought we’ve decided to use donor Sperm to help us get pregnant.
One of his relatives put himself forward to help us out so that the baby will still be related to my husband albeit in a small way.
We will be doing an at home A.I. Does anyone have any experience on this or can offer any tips?
Thank you so much for reading.

  • I have no experience of this but with the doner being known and close I would set out an airtight contract for what you all want x

  • Get a contract drawn up with all family members involved in it so everyone knows where they stand. Especially with the doner being family could get confusing/awkward. Check out a page on Facebook called “free sperm doners” and put a post on there for advice about the best way to concieve through AI or things that may improve your chances. Good luck!

  • I think it’s a lovely thing for the relative to offer, wishing you all the luck and sending lots of baby dust your way x
