Sorry bit long…. Now i dont care about child support. My ex has never ever paid or supported my children.
I was forced into a womens refuge due to severe domestic abuse 5 years ago and part of the process i was made to apply for csa. In those five years ive recieved one payment of £13. Fine not a problem. I never expected a penny from him. We are hundreds of miles away now and hes been in and out of prison the last few years because of his abuse towards us. Obviously hes not seen the children in that time. There is a restraining order and a court order of no contact.
I have been recieving child support letters saying hes on benefits. I dont care. It says theres no shared care etc thats correct. BUT what it does say is he has over night contact for 52 nights a year and therefor doesnt need to pay any csa. I keep ringing and complaining. I dont care nor need the money but what scares the crap out of me is that it says he has overnight. Csa has assured me theres no care etc but cant tell me why it says it does or why he isnt supposed to be paying. Has anyone delt with this? Any idea why the letter contradicts its self? Csa are confused and have no idea. Thanks
