Could you post this for me please??
So I got my son a nurfgun for Christmas, he took it to show his dad at the overnight contact and it never came back… I found oht through his dads girlfriends Facebook that they were not returning it due to it not being age appropriate, I was fuming as that wasn’t their call as they didnt buy it. But earlier on today ive tried to encourage my son to want to see his dad, as since then hes been upset when he knows hes going… hed said he doesnt want to cause he stole his gun… to which Id said “dont you still love him when you see him though” tjen hed said, yes, cause he fixed my gun… when I asked him how it got broke hed told me his dad had shouted in his face and launched his Christmas present at the wall… our son is only three so ive never tried to ask him incase I pushed a negative opinion of his father onto him… but now I am fuming as that’s obviously the real reason they didnt send it back and they only have him 1 night at a time… what I’m wondering is would it be worth reporting it and would I be better off calling the police or the social services? It was a few months ago so im not sure if they’d look into it or not… has anyone else had anything similar happen and did any local services take it seriously considering how long its been?

I’d still report it honey cos although it happened a while back ur son is only just opening upto u abt it which the police or ss wld acknowledge as he’s only young. He must have been scared plus thts teaching ur son to act in thy way which is not a way to parent a child. Must be a rather angry man to act like tht to a little 3year old child sicko in my opinion xx
