  • The best way to sort this out is through conversation. It can go one of a few ways…you both compromising; you accepting it and feeling more upset and lonely; or you putting your foot down and telling him to leave. If it’s compromising, you can’t expect him to give it up, altogether…but he also can’t expect you to do everything and spend your evenings alone. You need some couple time. Both myself and my partner like to do our own thing, but we also have rules…we make sure our daughter is settled for the night, we make sure we leave “us” time and we make sure we both tidy up the house together before going to bed. If he’s not even willing to talk to you, then you have your answer. Although I have to say, my partner was the same once and the only way it stopped was by me being firm, we’re talking scalding-him-like-his-mum-used-to firm. You can’t carry on like this, though. It’s not fair on you. Xxx

  • As he sets off to work I’d stand at window upstairs and shout babe have a lovely day , catch this and throw his x box out the window . On other hand at least his going to work , even if he is acting a child. Some men never grow up ! Ugh ! X

  • My boyfriend does this. Just try and say, I know you’re frustrated with your game but don’t you dare take it out on me. That works for me, being firm
