Abit tmi and not remotely to do with babies or children but just over a year ago I have my third child. Inwas induced a month early due to him not growing. Anyway I got to 4cm naturally and found out his cord has prolasped the midwife kept telling me to push to save the emergency c section. Didn’t work so i went for one anyway. Since then I’ve had what I think is piles I’ve brought some cream which hasn’t worked. I know I should go to the doctors but I’m so scared they’ll tell me it’s bowel cancer as piles symptoms are similiar. Any advice please ? Xxx

  • If it was bowel cancer (unlikely tho) wouldn’t that be more of a reason to go to the doctor? Why would you not go if you think it could be that? Surely you would want to find out soon as possible so you could receive treatment. Honestly just go to the doctor to put your mind at rest if nothing else.

  • Many girls and men have piles and live with them through out there life. Its not in common yr not a freak and doctors have seen many many of them . depending on the size they may offer removal . but tmi here . . if u can pop them back in they often leave them untill solid or cause bleeding xx

  • Piles are often a bright and fresh blood. Bowel cancer is often an older deeper, more congealed blood. Not always though, try not to worry but definitely get checked xx

  • You need the Dr to examine you it’s highly unlikely it’s bowel cancer but I’d want to know to get treatment if it was and when it’s not you can get treated and be relieved x
