Can I get post please, it doesn’t have to be private.

So my partner has just messaged me, telling me that one of the people who live in his house have committed suicide in the house. He’s asked me if I’m at home, which I am but I have to go up to my nan’s to put cream on her foot (as I’m the one person she sees most of the time, even though I’ve had a baby just over 5 weeks ago). I’ve told him I’ve got to go up to hers, but I’ll try and get back so he can come to mine to see us.

But I’m unsure as to what to say or do, as I’ve never been in this situation before. He’s given a statement to the police, and he’s really distraught. I feel terrible 😢 any advice on how I can try make him feel better, would be very appreciated.
