Can i have a private post please? Thanks…. myself & my partner have recently split up permanently after trying to make things work for over a year now, our 3 yr old son has a medical condition & i am his fulltime carer, his dad has him overnight at his grandmas house twice a week. He works fulltime currently on £16,500 a year with no debts or other children etc. Ive asked him to come to an agreement for him to pay me some child maintenance, and he has refused point blank to give me a penny & is saying that because i receieve my sons Disability living allowance that he shouldn’t have to pay me anything. Im also the one who drops my son off & picks him up twice a week to his as he doesnt drive. I also do the nursery runs etc. I am trying to be as amicable as possible. Am i being unreasonable asking him for money? He said hes saving up to get his own place & turned nasty! Thankyou x
