I’m wondering if anyone can help
People are saying it costs, some say it doesn’t.
Anyway, on my birth certificate unfortunately for me I’m under my ‘dads’ surname. But can i just go and change it over to my mothers name or does it cost and if so how much?
Changed my name with everything, just need it done on paper now so can change important documents.

Costs £45 to get a name change through the registry in Edinburgh if your in Scotland x
U do it through deed poll it does cost but should be straight forward
Think its around £20
