Could you post privately on the site please.
So I’m worried this will sound petty, but I had a child in March and none of my dad’s side and half my mum’s side didn’t even bother to send a card or even a text to say congratulations, I have never missed a birthday, anniversary or Christmas since being an adult until then, I missed a birthday and was called badly for it and was told I should take my child to them and update them with how she is?
Am I wrong or stubborn in thinking they should contact me from time to time and come to me.
(Just one example I walked 2 miles after a 10 hour nursing shift in the rain pregnant to ensure I didn’t miss a birthday)
