Hey can I have ppp in mum’s advice.

This post is about my baby’s dad. I was with him for two years and then we split but kept sleeping together. I fell pregnant, he didn’t want me to keep it but said he would be involved. He came to my 12 week scan and even wished me and his son merry Christmas when I was 19 weeks pregnant. By 20 weeks though..he told me he wanted nothing to do with his son and walked away. He told me he suddenly didn’t think he was his (even though there was no reason to doubt it) and that because I didn’t get an abortion when he asked, I was taking on financial responsibility on my own.

Since then I have had my beautiful little boy and I emailed the dad to give him another chance to change his mind. I was ignored.

I know what your thinking.. why should I care? But I do. It really bothers me for two reasons. I always wanted any child I had to have his biological dad in his life and was willing to facilitate this however possible and I hate that he is claiming the baby isn’t his. I mean, if your going to walk asay dont pretend he doesnt exist… have the balls to admit what your doing yano? I have recently gone through child maintenance and they are investigating the dad and will make contact shortly.
I guess I’m wondering how other single mothers out there cope in a situation like this and how do you get past it?
I feel like I haven’t got any closure and more importantly I want my son to know 100% who his father is.
It’s just so aggravating and heartbreaking and I wish it didn’t bother me anymore.
