Hi, can I get a private post please?

Last week I found out I was pregnant with my second. Working it out I’m roughly over 6 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I started spotting it was really light pink .. it was on and off all day. Today it’s more red but it’s not really heavy and I have no pains. I can’t get into the doctors till next week..I’m really worried.

  • I would call the doctor and ask to speak to the doctor asap if u can’t have an appt and just tell them ur worries failing that I’d call the hospital and ask to speak to a midwife for advice and just tell them u have tried ur gp but can’t be seen until next week good luck x but it’s reassuring that u aren’t having any pain and may just be implantation blood but speak to a health professional to be safe x

  • Go straight to the early pregnancy unit and demand to be seen!! I did it the ‘proper’ way of phoning for a scan and they couldnt see me for 4 days!!!

  • I had the same problem my boyfriend took me the walkin centre. They then got me an app at epu at hosbtal. They did test and a scan and came back all ok. You could also go to A&E and they send you the epu. Hugs to you xx

  • When I was bleeding before at 7 weeks I went to A&E. They scared me and done blood test. Either go hospital or call 111 and see what they say

  • I know it’s easier said than done, but worry will stress you out more, so try to stay calm and positive. I spotted on both my pregnancies, my second pregnancy I started spotting from 7 wks and I had to wait around a week as well, as from 8 wks they have more of a chance hearing a heart beat so maybe that’s why.
If you can’t stop worrying, I don’t know if they would but you could always phone hospital and explain what your doctors said as they might be able to offer you more advice.
Good luck and hope all is fine xx
