Hi can I have a private post please.
My daughter will be 2 in September. When she turned one she banged her head of the corner of a table, she needed the cut glued. Everything was fine, it healed and left a scar. 2-4 months after healing a spot appeared on it. Doctors have says it’s Molluscum contagiosum. The spot will irritate her and sometimes puss comes out the spot. I’ve been back to the doctors 3 times for them to tell me give it time then gave her some antibiotics ( which I think was to shut me up ). Nothing is helping I feel like such a pain but I need this gone. Can anyone give advise to what this is and who else I can speak to other than my doctor. Thank you.

It can take ages for it to clear up but it will eventually go away on its own. My kids had it for around 18months -2 years. If it’s only 1 spot you’re lucky has my second had it all over her chest and arms and my youngest had them on her face and neck.
The doctors are right it can take 2 years for it to go babes my daughter has them were her exma is all over her body just be patient no point pumping things in her body ect if it will go on its own xxx

I had molluscum as a child, it is irritating but you just gotta bare with it unfortunately. Don’t pop it, it’ll scar xcc
