Hi please can I have a private post please NBR; I’ve had problems with blood pressure during pregnancy and after then yesterday when I went to get the contraceptive pill. I had 3 readings yesterday of 140/105, the doctor changed the pill to the mini pill and has sent me away and asked me to come back in 2 1/2 weeks to have my blood pressure checked again. I’m just wondering whether she should of done something more rather than just send me away? Should she of re started blood pressure medication? She told me that if my reading got to 140/110 then that’s when you get sent into hospital? So surely if it was 140/105 she should of done more? Does anybody have any advice on whether I should wait until my appointment or ring back up and get in with a different doctor? Thankyou 😊 x
Sorry I forgot to add that I had previously been on blood pressure medication, then the doctors managed to get my blood pressure down and it stayed down!
