I have a 16 month old boy who has not yet had a clear hearing test from birth even though he can hear with both ears. He walks a lot on his tip toes so I googled this and read that walking on tip toes and not knowing many words ( my boy only says n’night once in a blue moon) can be linked. I have asked friends who’s children at this age speak more. Tried to phone health visitor with no answer. Any one else had children similar to this and should I be worried. If I should get him checked and I can’t get hold of health visitor should I take him to doctors or leave him to see how he progresses in next couple months. I understand children are at all different stages. He is also very clingy to only me which I also understand children go through but just want to make sure I mention everything. Thanks in advance for any advice x
