Please could i have a post.. i have a 15 month old boy, he constantly bites, smacks and pinches. I work 3 days a week and he stays with a family member where there are boisterious children i imagine this is where its come from. We dont laugh when he does it or encourage him. I have started tapping his hand when he does it but he doesnt take in what he is doing is wrong. Does anyone have any tips to try and get him out of this? I hate being the mum that apologises for his behaviour constantly. Want to nip this in the bud before he goes to nursery etc. Thank you

Oh god my just turned 2 year old is the same and honestly thought the same as you. Went through a stage where I wouldn’t even take him to places where there were other kids because I was too embarrassed and nervous that he’d constantly be naughty or hurt other kids. All I can say is everything with kids this age is a phase and that’s the biggest thing I’ve learnt as a parent, nothing lasts forever! Just ride it out and keep doing what your doing, telling him it’s wrong etc and he will soon get there and move onto doing something else 🙈 my son was exactly the same and has now come out of it a bit more, has his odd moments but nothing like how he used to be!x
