Could I have a private post please.

Smear tests are usually every 3 years. I’m due one in March 2018. But in January 2018 I am having a major operation with 9-12months for full recovery. I don’t want to miss my smear it would be nearly 4 years by the time I’ve recovered. Has anyone had there’s early? For medical reasons? Is this a possibility or do I just have to wait and have it really late? I would be grateful for any advice I’m really worried I’ve never not had a smear test on time. Tia x
